Time of Refocusing and Renewing

Hello...

For those of you who are reading the book, Becoming More by Lysa TerKeurst and wanted to participate in the study I'm so sorry I have been behind.

Instead of trying to catch up, I am going to take a little break from blogging and really focus on the Lord. I can't share my heart with you here in my blog if He doesn't have my heart completely.

A lot of things have been going on in my life and instead of drawing near to God, I have been stepping away. I feel it best for me to really REALLY fix my eyes on my King. Everything else has to be put aside for now and He has to be given my full attention. I miss Him so much and can't believe how quickly Satan will move into a heart not filled up with Jesus. I'm just really tired sweet friends and feel so defeated which is crazy because I have a King that has already won.

So, my sweet friend Paula, author of the blog, His Ways will be graciously hosting YES to GOD Tuesday's for me until God lets me return. Paula has participated in all but one of the studies since starting them in March '08 and always has wonderful insight to each chapter. Plus she has a love for the Lord that is just so evident.

So, if you are reading the book, please click on the link above and go to Paula's blog each Tuesday, until she lets you know differently. I will be stopping over and reading your thoughts when I can and I know I'll learn much from you. I always do.

Thank you all so much for your love, prayers and support.
You are some incredible women.
Please keep me and my family in your prayers.

Life is so tough and I have lived a life without having Christ #1 in my life and it is a miserable way to spend time on this earth.
So when I see myself slipping back to that type of life, I recognize my need for Him and I just have to put everything down and just run to Him.
I must sprint to Him and know that I will be falling into arms that don't want to let me go. And this tired soul just wants to collapse in His presence and allow Him to lead my life.
This enemy we have is relentless and wants to destroy, so I'm off and running to my Savior, Girls.

This song called Strong Enough by Stacie Orrico is the song running through my heart right now.

Love to you...

Hey Lelia. I understand about priorities. I had to step away from the bloggy world for a while to make sure I was spending adequate time with God and my family. I've just been released (with moderation) to come back into bloggy land.

Praying for a time of refreshing as you run into the arms of your Savior.

Prayers and blessings,
Rebecca

Sweet Lelia, you know you have my heart, love, and prayers. You express yourself so beautifully. I will miss hearing your life stories. I already miss your g-girls pics. Maybe you'll sneak a peak here and there on FB.

Whatever you need, you call, email, text.

Love you oodles.

Lelia, I will be praying!

I've just come out of a dark place. Even though I knew the victory was mine, I couldn't seem to lift the sword. My prays kept falling to the floor or so I thought. I almost give up.

My sweet friend, God is waiting for your arrival. So, go an spend time with Him!

I'll be here when you get back and you have my email,if you need a friend.

love and hugs~Tammy

God brought you to mind today so I popped over to your blog to see what is new with you...I completely understand where you are at. I often wish that Pastors had the option to hit the "pause" button on ministry when they need to refresh; some churches are more sensitive to that than others. Unless our own hearts are right before and with our Heavenly Father true ministry is not possible.

May He refresh your soul and draw you close! Praying for you sweet friend.

"See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me." Song of Solomon 2:11-13

When I said "My foot is slipping," your love, O Lord, supported me (psalm 94:18)
Find rest, O my soul, in God alone, my hope comes from him. he alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress and I will not be shaken.(psalm 62: 5-6
I am praying for you and your family, sweet sister in Christ.

Blessings Lelia...Praying while you do this BREAK! He is strong enough and so are you! As He "breaks you, pours you out and starts again... may you sense His awesome touch and Presence! As you draw back from blogging, draw close to Him once again! I know you will! (I'm one of those readers that stays caught up on your study via following you in Google Reader, but I love each of your "Yes God" studies) Paula is a good choice as you put your life back in His hands and refocus & renew, He will bless you! May you find rest and peace! May He fill you back up! Let us know if you need help or specific prayer but trust we are holding you in prayer & totally understand. "Be strong & courageous!" Joshua 1:9

I love this song! Stacie Orrico is new to me so gotta go check out more of her songs! But the message of the song is just right! Be strengthened! We're here to hold up your arms!

Completely understandable...that happen to me earlier this year; I stepped away from blogging for awhile because He really laid it on my heart that there were other priorities to deal with and it was a blessing for the time away.

It felt like a spiritual famine, but as I looked back...He needed me to use that time to just listen and I praise Him for that.

Keeping you in my prayers for we serve a wonderful Father who lovingly sees to our needs and cares for us deeply.

God bless you!

If you want me to pray more specifically, please send me an e-mail. You have been such a blessing to me as a newbie in this bloggy world. It is an honor to pray for you!!

What comes to mind is from Jeremiah...When you seek me you will find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you!

Blessings to you,

I understand Lelia, and even though I'm not participating in the study, I wanted to weigh in with you regarding my prayers for your weary heart. You are wise to press into Jesus rather than running in retreat.

If there is any more specific way I can be praying for you this week, please send me an e-mail. I'd be honored to do so.

Love you friend.

Lelia,
I am praying for you and that God will totally lift you up during this time of intentional refocusing! He is faithful, as you know and will answer your prayer in His perfect way.
Blogging is wonderful, but it also can soak up a lot of time that we think we are using for Him...but sometimes not. I, too, have had to weigh my priorities against His direction and found that He wants more time with me and then me to spend more time with the people He has put in my life that I can feel. Love my bloggy friends, too, but He has called me to minister to those around me. Too much time on the computer hinders me from doing that well.
Love to you...and we will still be in touch!
Much love, dear friend.
