YES to GOD: Ch. 6: Look Up: Hope in God, My Soul

Hello dear friends!
I will be posting tomorrow on chapter 6.
I tell ya, it's tough when life gets in the way of blogging isn't it? ~smile~

I have been walking every morning at the mall and Saturday morning my husband Gene went with me. If you have been with me for any length of time then you know back in April a week before we became grandparents, he had major back surgery. Lately he has been experiencing numbness and tingling in his leg along with a burning sensation. He loses his balance and his walk has lost its strut. Well, Saturday morning we walked into the mall and he sneezed and instantly his legs just went out. And there, in the middle of the mall entrance was my big muscular husband sitting on the ground. Oh, it was a heart breaker, but this nice elderly gentleman came and helped me get him up. So...his surgeon called and moved his appointment that was later this month to today.
YES to GOD Tuesday.

So, anyway we spent what we thought would be a one hour appointment in Omaha but acutally was an all day adventure. Gene had x-rays, an MRI with dye and an injection that hopefully will subside the pain.
Just wanted you to know that if life would stay out of my way I would be the best YES to GOD hostess in the whole wide world!! your thoughts on your own blog and sign up under Mr. Linky so that we can come read what God showed you in this chapter. I'll be back tomorrow to share my heart with ya.

Thanks again for all are the best!

~Many Blessings~

Going with the flow...I'm enjoying getting to know all the ladies. Your husband sounds like a friends daughter...her road with back problems has been quite challenging...can't even imagine. Will be praying for all as He leads.

Praying for you, Lelia, and Gene too!
Love you...
and hey, it was all I could do to get myself to sit at the computer tonight and write my post...
God has been hitting me with so much, that it is a bit hard to comprehend and get into words....
Love you so much,

You ARE the best Yes to God hostess in the whole wide world!! Unfortunately, your world has just been turned upside down lately. You and yours remain in my daily thoughts and prayers. Thanks for taking the time to let us know what's going on and what your needs in prayer are. God bless, Stacy

While I'm not a part of your study; I check in here and there to read your blog.

"I pray the God of all peace would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus" today as you continue to grieve the loss of loved ones and take care of your husband.

Sweet, sweet, Lelia! You told me once never to apologize for putting family and God before blogging...I'm proud that you have taken your own advice!!!! :)

Family and God are the two reasons that I am not currently blogging. It just takes up too much of the precious little time I have to spend with family and God outside of work and keeping a home.

I love you Sweet One! I was just thinking about Gene the other day and wondering how he was doing. I honestly can't remember if I offered up a prayer for him, but please know that he (and you!) were on my heart.

Prayers and blessings,

Oh Lelia...who would've ever thunk that a simple sneeze could cause such chaos. Our bodies are so fragile yet so magnificently made, amen?

I'm proud of your consistency to walk every day...can ya rub some of that off on me?

I pray that Gene has the relief from pain he is seeking. I pray the doctors provide some answers to give him a glimpse of "normal" again. I know this has been a long process for you all.

May God, the Healer of all, heal your precious Gene.

Oh, and I still vote you the bestest of best hostess even though you do have a life. We love to hear your heart and it doesn't have to be Tuesday morning bright and shining. It could be three weeks late and we still love your heart and hearing about it.

Much much love to my sweet Lelia and hers.

I know that if that would have been Bill & I and he was crumpled....the tears, Sister, the tears.

Lord hold Lelia and Gene.

Love ya!

I will remember you both (and the rest of your family) in my prayers Lelia.

Praying that Gene is healed, that you can remain strong, that your children grow closer to the Lord, and that you can find peace in the arms of the Lord.

Oh wow, Lelia! And you ARE the best hostess!
Prayers for you and Gene. Seriously! A sneeze!
I have to say, I snickered at him losing his strut. Poor Baby!
Hang in there and hang on!
I will be back!

You are so faithful to the Lord, your Gene, family, and us. Life does happen, and I'll be praying for your big man. Hoping he gets that strut back. Praying for your continued strength and endurance.

Lots of love,
